Fall Leaves Collage

Posted on Updated on

Fall is my favorite season of the year! The joys of seeing the different colors of the leaves is scintillating. I wish it would be fall all year long. However, we have endless crafts that we can make out of fall leaves and keep the memories alive. Here is my first craft using the colorful leaves.

Stitch Kits

Stitch kits are a wonderful art work. The blend of colors and the glossy threads give them a festive look and it always brightens up the wall.
Be it a flower or fruit, trees or dolphins, stitched works bring out the artist in you.
They are perfect gift ideas and would add a personal touch too!

Paper bow

Cut thin strips out of magazine paper, using different length for the different layers of the bow. Fold each strip into an eight and staple at the center. Place the pieces adjacently until they form the layer of the bow. Repeat the layers, using shorter strips for top layers.

Paper Fold Art

My colleague is a craftsperson and while I was talking to her one day over a coffee she showed me a paper cut into a circle and showed me how to make few specific folds and how when eight of these pieces are put together will make a decorative pattern like the one below.
Use a thick paper, preferably a magazine paper and cut out eight circles with 5 inches diameter. Then make the folds respectively as numbered for each of the eight circles.
Now join the eight pieces on the sides using a glue. Several of these patterns can be used as wall decorative for parties.
